Business First Spreads the Festive Cheer with Mission Christmas

Our Burnley and Liverpool business centres will become official gift donation drop-off points from 17th November, helping bring a little magic to children who might otherwise miss out this festive season.

Mission Christmas is all about making sure every child wakes up to a present on Christmas morning. Sadly, for many families across the country, that's not always possible. We're calling on our tenants, local businesses, and anyone feeling festive to join us in supporting this brilliant cause.

Simply:

🎁 Buy a new gift for a child or young person aged 0–18 years

📍 Drop it off at Business First Burnley or Liverpool

💖 Make a real difference to a local child this Christmas

Gift ideas by age group

Not sure what to buy? Here are some ideas to help you choose:
Ages 0–3 years: Sensory toys, books, building blocks, bibs, teething rings
Ages 3–5 years: Dolls, cars, scooters, puzzles, early learning toys
Ages 5–7 years: Colouring books, crayons, jigsaws, craft kits
Ages 7–9 years: LEGO, remote control toys, footballs, pencil cases, science kits
Ages 9–12 years: Board games, hats, scarves and gloves, fidget toys
Ages 12–15 years: Hot water bottles, pyjamas, rucksacks, stationery
Ages 15–18 years: Make-up, headphones, speakers, books
Sensory gifts are also always appreciated — think Stickle Bricks, musical toys, light-up toys, and play-dough.

Gifts to consider...

Every donation helps, but last year there were fewer gifts for older children and teens. Please consider choosing something for that age group. A warm blanket, a cool gadget, or books would mean the world.
