State-of-the-art system for car park customers

Park First has launched a brand new allocation system as part of continual upgrades to its Glasgow airport car parks to enhance the customer experience.

To make access to individual car parking spaces even quicker and easier for customers, Park First has rolled out a state-of-the-art space allocation system across all of its off-airport car parking sites at Glasgow Airport.

Park First operates seven park-and-ride car parks close to Glasgow Airport – Speed Park, Park N Fly, Park Fast, ParkSafe, Skyport, Direct Parking and Swift Park.

The newly implemented system sees every customer allocated their own dedicated car parking space. Every space is clearly numbered and forms part of a series of coloured zonal areas, to make finding your allocated space a simple and straightforward process.

Upon arrival at their chosen car park, customers are now greeted by a digital screen welcoming them to the site by name and providing details of their designated parking space and coloured zone.

From here, directional signage has been erected to guide customers to the relevant coloured zone where they can find their reserved space.

A spokesperson for Park First Glasgow, said: “Finding your parking space has never been easier across our seven sites now the fantastic new allocation system is up and running.

“Now, there’s no need for customers to spend valuable time searching for a space, as they will be directed straight to their reserved spot on arrival. This leaves them with more time to get straight to the airport and start enjoying their trip.”

Glasgow Airport is currently enjoying its busiest ever year, with a record-breaking summer for passenger numbers.
