Glasgow Airport named Most Outstanding Business

Glasgow Airport has triumphed at the Glasgow Business Awards after scooping three accolades – including the title for Most Outstanding Business.

After being nominated for two awards, airport staff were delighted to claim Best Performing Business with 51 employees and over, as well as the prize for Excellence in Customer Service in the same category. In fact, the airport garnered a hat-track of awards after being named the Royal Bank of Scotland Most Outstanding Business – the ceremony’s most prestigious distinction.Judges praised the airport for its ongoing investment, commitment to customer service excellence and continual focus on developing new routes.

The last two years has seen Glasgow Airport add more than 50 new routes and services, including key European cities like Prague, Milan, Bordeaux and Bucharest.

Previously, Glasgow – which is on track for its busiest ever year – has been named European, UK and Scottish airport of the year.
