Group First Finance Director and balloon pilot Richard Gahan said: “The meet – now in its 8th year – aims to attract as many balloonists as possible to gather on a social basis and fly for fun without the pressure of entertaining crowds – balloonists going back to their roots!”

Team Pilot Under Training, Charlie, was hoping to have an instructor flight, however with the lack of available instructors, team pilot Richard and fellow pilot Austin put Charlie though his paces with lots of low level flying, making full use of the big open ploughed fields.

The event was sponsored again by Spanish balloon manufacturer Ultramagic who brought along their “Friendship Balloon”

Great conditions and another top day out for the team!
